Excel Patterns, Inc. is a full service pattern shop, founded in 1996, with a combined 100+ years and 2 generations of experience. DESIGN AND ENGINEERING:
The Engineering Staff at Excel Patterns has over 100 years of combined Pattern making and Foundry Engineering experience. We can take concept sketches and turn it into real life. We can aid in the final design or easily configure and edit existing drawings and models to insure their workability. Send us your tough jobs – we will make it work.
RAPID PROTOTYPING:
We have the ability to take a 3D model or a 2D drawing produce a model and, provide prototype tooling within weeks of receiving the data. Excel Patterns can also scan an existing casting or part through the use of our 3D scanner and create a digitized model. This model can then be used to machine new prototype tooling. A variety of materials can be used for your prototype needs depending on your budget. Wood, Model Board, Red Board and Aluminum are some of the materials we can work with. We also have the ability to provide both ferrous and non-ferrous castings if needed through close relationships with several local foundries. We can also machine your prototype castings to provide you with a finished, ready to assemble product.
PRODUCTION TOOLING:
Our specialty is in producing fully CNC machined tooling in a variety of materials. Depending on your needs and volumes, we can machine everything from wood to cast iron and any material in between. No job is too large or too small. Rigging and gating of all tooling can be provided as needed by our skilled Craftsmen in our well equipped shop.
CASTING SERVICES:
Through our close relationships with several area foundries we now have the ability to provide both ferrous and non-ferrous castings. From prototype to production quantities see us for your casting needs.
